We need to obey God to enjoy blessings

Exodus 19:5 Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own possession among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine;

When we obey God, we learn to appreciate what God entrusted to us for life.  God created and owns all the world and He gave it to us to inhabit and enjoy.  If we listen to Him, we will get to know His voice and obedience becomes easy.

God Will Do What He Says

Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

Men will lie to you for their own sinful reasons and then would have to ask for your forgiveness because of their sin. God is not a man and does not need to lie to you. Instead He is faithful and true, so if He promised you something, God will do just what He said He would do for you. Count on it.

Knowing God is With Us Helps us Do His Work

Deuteronomy 20:1  When you go out to battle against your enemies and see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, who brought you up from the land of Egypt, is with you.

Do not be afraid of doing what God called you to do, He will fight our battles and bring to us the necessary tools to carry out His purpose. We must be of good courage and do the work so God can bless it.

There is Peace When We Rest In God

Psalms 4:8 In peace I will both lie down and sleep, For You alone, O LORD, make me to dwell in safety.

Often we have trouble falling asleep because our mind is thinking about finances, choices we made, relationship issues and other anxieties. But when we trust God to protect us and keep us safe, our mind can be at peace providing us a restful night sleep. Helping us to be recharged and continue our work in God’s purpose.

God Connect Believers

Acts 10:19 While Peter was reflecting on the vision, the Spirit said to him, Behold, three men are looking for you. 20 So get up and go downstairs. Do not hesitate to go with them, for I have sent them. 21 Peter went down and said to the men, “I’m the one you’re looking for. Why have you come?” 22 The men replied, “We have come from Cornelius the centurion. He is a righteous and God-fearing man, who is respected by all the Jewish people. A holy angel told him to ask you to come to his house so that he could hear what you have to say.” 23 Then Peter invited the men into the house to be his guests

Even though Peter did not know these men, God told Peter through the Holy Spirit that three men are looking for you. The Holy Spirit told these men to come to Peter to learn. God used Peter to teach, Cornelius to send and the three men to expand the Kingdom of God. Together we all are the body of Christ.

We are to fellowship

Hebrews 10:24

24 and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, 25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

God wants His children to come together as a family and celebrate our ABBA Father. We are His chosen family and we need to come together and talk, encourage and worship God. This helps us to continue to do the good works of Kingdom building. We also learn to that we are not alone in our struggles.
